Starting from a small family operation, the company has evolved into a high-specification industrial facility.

In the early 1990s, Zakynthos was on the cusp of a tourism boom.
Ioannis Mamfredas and his father Dionysios saw the gap in the professional laundering market with clear foresight.
The business was founded in a 200 m² space with basic equipment: a barrel-type washer, a wringer and a single-cylinder ironer. That was the beginning.

Our reputation grows and the island's needs are increasing. Responding to the trust of our partners, we take the first major step forward.
Our facility doubles in size to 450 m², while nine new machines are added, raising the bar for the service we deliver.

Entering the new millennium, we bring a revolution to our industry.
We become the first business on the island to introduce a tunnel washer.
This technological upgrade isn't just an equipment purchase; it's proof of our commitment to speed, quality and leading the way.

The world is changing and we evolve with it. In an era of rising expectations, we carry out a complete overhaul.
We replace our older equipment with state-of-the-art next-generation machines, ensuring the quality of our services remains unmatched.

A landmark year.
Our facility reaches an impressive 1,500 m².
We invest in third-generation cutting-edge technology: a new tunnel washer, a complete ironing line and a new steam boiler join our arsenal.
MAMFREDAS EXPRESS LAUNDRIES is now synonymous with industrial power.

In times when safety is the priority, we step up with responsibility.
The company earns ISO 9001:2015 certification and compliance certificates for COVID-19 health protocols.
We prove that linen care is, for us, a matter of public health and respect for people.

2023–2024 marks a milestone in our evolution.
Our facility expands to 2,500 m² and the equipment is reinforced with a new tunnel washer and a fourth ironing line.
But for us, growth also means responsibility.
We make a decisive shift towards sustainability with photovoltaics (67 KWp), water recycling systems (Aquacatch) and ISO 14001 certification, ensuring our footprint is a positive one for Zakynthos.

Growth continues at pace.
2025 was a landmark year with a new ISO certification, and in 2026 the facility expanded to 3,000 m², now also housing our new Showroom for linen rental products.
With two state-of-the-art tunnel washing systems, a fleet of 9 vehicles and a team of over 50 people, we are building on the founders' values while looking firmly to the future, shaping the modern era of linen care.
